'I Have Never Realized It Was You' has been composed as a soundtrack for the performance Sexy Movers by Aurelio Di Virgilio, and produced by CANGO | Centro Nazionale dei Linguaggi del Corpo e della Danza. The concept behind the composition is the same that drives the entire performance. It aims to explore the interaction between two humans in the instant they come into contact with each other. A gesture that is generally immediate seems to be stretched in time, showing every shade with all its micro-variations.

“Try to Imagine to be able to expand this moment, to be able to scan time, and observe the vibrations and dynamics that precede an encounter. What happens when two humans get close to each other? What happens when we make eye contact with someone? And how do we change after that? Sexy movers aims to be a path of transformation, in which bodies accumulate experiences and use them as a strategy to communicate with each other”.

Ivano Pecorini is a composer and sound artist based in London. His works move across experimental approaches and aesthetic investigations, focusing on the manipulation and mixture between concrete materials, synthesis and acoustic instruments. His body of work maintains both a sharp creative focus and a wide-eyed spirit of exploration, creating unexpected electronic soundscapes. He graduated in Electroacoustic Composition at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome and postgraduate in Electronic Music Composition at the UWL in London. His previous work Barons Court was released as a tape cassette by Mahorka.
